Thought ya might like to see some pics and a clip of a 67 Firebird drag car that a friend of mine in Scotland has. He lives about 20 min. outside Edinburg. He told me he purchased it 30 years ago from a guy who was stationed there in the Air Force. Ian built it himself and his son races it. Has a 555cu Chevy, twin turbos. He claims 1700+ hp with 26lb boost. Has run 5.8 in the 1/8 @135mph, and 8.76 @170 in the 1/4 with a 1.48 60ft time. Not to mention it looks sweet! There is a link to a clip of it at the local track below. You'll notice the North Sea at the end of the track! He runs in street class so it has full exhaust. Quietly fast!
