Default Christmas Lights

Eddie and I were thinking in the spirit of the holidays we would cruise around to look at all the lights and thought it may be fun with a group. If you're interested, we could go on Tuesday (12/22) night.

Let me know if anyone would like to go and I'll put together a course that will include a bite to eat at Hooters! Be sure to let me know of locations you'd like to include.

It looks like there are quite a few interested. The 3 locations we'd really like to visit would be:

1. Eddie and Kim's house in Colington
2. The Polous' in Kill Devil Hills
3. Michael's house in Manns Harbor

Should we meet at Hooters for a bite to eat and plan to depart there say by 7:00 to give those that have to work late time to get there? The loop with stops will probably take some time.

Sounds like 3 great sites to see. If anybody knows of any other houses that would be good to see, let us know. This should be a lot of fun.

Perfect!! Thanks for the tip about the Post Office. The 3 I had noted were actual stops where the lights were either set to music or extensive, where a 'drive by' wouldn't provide enough time to appreciate. We'll add the PO to the list!

Absolutely!! We had a blast!! Not only were the scheduled stops amazing displays, but the rest of the communities we drove through were beautifully decorated as well.

On a not so good note, James' Impala had a run in (literally) with a baby bear on the way home. He's okay and the car was not as damaged as he thought it would be, but I don't think the bear faired as well...
