CAR SHOW TO BENEFIT HONOR AIR, LOCAL VETERANS AT RUMBLING BALD, LAKE LURE

The Hendersonville Antique Car Club will host a Benefit Car Show in support of Honor Air, and Local Veterans at the Rumbling Bald Resort at Lake Lure , NC , on Saturday May 26, 2012 from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM. Rumbling Bald is located at 112 Mountain Blvd , Lake Lure , NC .

All Antique, Vintage, Custom, Rods, Rat Rods, Cars, and Trucks are invited to attend this benefit for Honor Air, and Local Veterans. Awards for the Top Twenty Cars. Awards have the Service Logos of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard..

All Veterans and Active Duty Service Members are encouraged to attend and wear their appropriate service attire.

Among the activities are a Miniature Golf Tournament, 50/50 Raffle, Boating on Lake Lure , Door Prizes. Food and Drinks will be available. Entry fee is only $10 per vehicle and spectators are free.

Proceeds benefit Honor Air, and Local Veterans. Honor Air, started in 2006, by local businessman Jeff Miller, has supported Veterans of all eras by escorting the WWII Veterans to Washington , DC , to visit the WWII Memorial. Supporting ABCCM with their programs for Homeless Veterans and AB Tech in teaching Veterans new work skills to allow them to enter the workforce. Most recently Honor Air escorted Viet Nam Veterans to Charlotte for a Welcome Home Celebration. All proceeds will be given to Honor Air to distribute to local organizations supporting Veterans.

Come show your support for our Men and Women in Uniform. Free to the public. Bring the kids and spend some time on the lake, playing miniature golf, and seeing Classic, Antique, Vintage, Custom, Rods, Cars, and Trucks in various stages of restoration.
