It's been said that there are three kinds of people: those that make things happen, those that watch things happen, and those that wonder what happened. And so I wonder, what happened at Track Day? -DT

OK, so here's what happened.... It was HOT!!! But at least the humidity was down. We had about 30 cars in attendance and everyone had a great time! Don brought out his "family car".... a SWEET Orange Challenger SRT8 which did right well. Kim Cox did very well for her first time down the track in her new toy.... Nice red Firebird Formula. Anissa had fun makin passes in the BlackJack and Eddie "played" with the BOSS a bit. I made some passes in the Camaro and it did well....I, on the other hand did crappy in it. LOL I had a terrible time getting the launch down but still managed a 9.4 @74 in it, so not bad. Took Shawns 'Stang down a couple times and managed to better it's previous runs by three tenths making a 9.6 pass! Pretty good for a 200hp V6. And Tyler Musick got better with each pass in his GT, even takin down his Dads BOSS! So all in all it was a really fun day and I heard no complaints, 'cept for the heat.
Lookin forward to next time!!!

Thanks for the re-cap Bill. The suspense was getting to me. Nice to hear of your steady improvements. The Blackjack and the Boss would have been cool to watch. Way to go Tyler! By the way, Alan, if you still have any 12 bolt parts left please pm or call me. Thanks either way. I plan on freshening up the unit in my Nova, probably this winter. -DT

I also failed to mention that Ron Watson had his Monte Carlo racecar out makin passes and we also had quite a few cars from the OBX Tunerz carclub enjoying themselves as well! But all that pales in comparison to the fact that HOWARD WAS THERE RACING HIS VETTE, YA'LL!!!!!!!!
