Dear Collector Car Fan:

It might seem early to plan for an August event, but our 3rd Annual Carolina Classics at the Capital weekend will be here before you know it! On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, August 17th to 19th, more than 50,000 spectators will descend on Downtown Raleigh for what’s fast becoming the most talked-about classic car venue in the Southeast. We own classic cars, and we know what classic car owners want in a show:

BIG CROWDS: Let’s be honest…we love showing off our classics! Carolina Classics at the Capital draws tens of thousands to Downtown Raleigh, and many are new to the hobby. If your car is camera-shy, or you’d rather not answer enthusiastic questions about your restoration, you’re better off staying home.

CONVENIENT LOCATION: Raleigh is readily accessible via Interstates 40, 85 and 95. More than 10 million people live within a two-hour drive of our show!

HANG WITH YOUR BUDDIES: Some of our best friends are in the collector car hobby, and we love socializing with them at car shows.

RESTAURANTS AND LODGING: With more than 100 restaurants and hundreds of hotel rooms within walking distance, Carolina Classics at the Capital is so convenient you need never move your car all weekend.

SECURE PARKING: Your classic car or truck is safe with us. Raleigh Police and our own security team keep a watchful eye on all registered vehicles Friday and Saturday nights. For extra peace of mind, choose a display space inside the bright, air-conditioned Greater Raleigh Convention Center

The great downtown atmosphere in North Carolina’s capital city means you can once again expect record crowds, live oldies music, trophies in dozens of categories, radio station broadcasts, TV coverage and the Friday Night Cruise-In (FREE to classic car participants)! So, please mark your show calendar for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, August 17-19, 2012 in Downtown Raleigh, and watch for our ads in Old Car Trader, Hemmings and leading collector car Web sites.

August will be here before you know it! Find out more—and register now for best display slots—at www.classicsatthecapital.com. We’re committed to making Carolina Classics at the Capital your favorite show year after year.

Sincerely,
Greg, James and Phil
And the Classics at the Capital Crew
