C'mon... all those years living down Colington Rd with that horsepower? You should be a Drifting Champion!

Well.... Actually, I created drifting back in the late 70s. There was rarely a corner that I was not going around sideways. Nowadays, not so much.

there you go,
i knew you know about rally cars and small engines..

the ford you all are excited about driven by Ken is a
4 cylinder turbocharged all wheel drive rally car, monsterized for Gymkahna events.

Ken used to drive for Subaru and the first two videos are with a Subaru Impreza STI, direct competitor of my vehicle

IC,

These are the guys we hung with yesterday when we took the Blackjack out to Driftwater 10.

96% Imports; even chatted for a long time with the lone EVO out there. Just another example of how we mix with other types of cars AND drive our cars; rain or shine! Even have a big ole rock chip on the freshly painted front end to boot!

I forgot the camera and Eddie forgot the GoPro and the camcorder! So I'm relying on what others are posting around the web.

Good, i went last year on the two events, you can ask Dan, the guy that organizes it. I disliked it for the same reason you mentioned. Too many drifters outthere. I had masking tape all over my front and still got two three big rock chips.
The drifting guys go out of the track on purpose and scatter stones and debree on the track. This is bad for GRIP drivers like me.
I also thought they would cancel the event due to the rain and crappy weather.
Congrats anyway.
Otherwise i love the course, the price and the thrill there. Just too costly on my paintjob )
I have addressed those issues with Dan and we could have sessions for grip guys only one day

A grip only day would be wonderful! We loved being close to home and of course the price can't be beat as we're used to paying $300 plus for most tracks.

The morning sessions were fine as the track was really wet so the drifters were behaving quite well. After lunch when the sun came out and the track dried, rocks, dirt and mud began flying. The first time the Blackjack spun and ran aground, he was done. The rock chip was the result of one getting stuck between the bra and the car. Oh well, each one has a story, right?
