I believe the car was based on a 66 or 67 GTO or lemans. If you look at the car you can see the similarities in the front end and rear quarters.

I liked the big Continental from "The Green Hornet" and the street rod from Dobie Gillis. Maxwell Smart's Sunbeam Alpine Tiger was nice as was his VW Karman Ghia. My favorite "buffet" was the movie "American Graffiti". Same primered '55 Chevy as James Taylor had in "Two Lane Blacktop". And, of course, "Bullit", "Vanishing point"
and all the Pontiacs in the "Smoky and the Bear" series. Yeah, I know they're movies and not TV, but still cool. Thanks for the mental vacation. DT
7 ups was a great chase scene movie but Am. Graffiti was my favorite. TIVO'd it just this past week. Man was Drufuss young! Great old cars. Another good car movie was Hollywood Knights w/ Tony Danza. Can't find it anywhere though.
