Although this was not a FFC event, I thought I'd post a few pics of the WTW Spring '08 Road Rally I went to this weekend. This is now an annual event (there is also an annual fall rally). So far all participants have been old high school friends. This year was a blast. Started by meeting 2 friends in VA Beach and cruised up to Chubbies in Manassas, VA and met 7 more old friends. From there we went to one of the guys place nearby and had a nice catered BBQ where we reminiced about the old days. It was an awesome day! Here are a few pics.

Here's the whole group of cars:

very nice cars, looks like a blast:D good mix of stuff, we need to get theses club members to get out and drive their cars, and we would have a good mix to.

Great pics Brian!! All are super sweet cars, but that Woody is just gorgeous!!

So I'm guessing you have all of them talked into cruising down here in March? ;)

Ditto on getting people out for cruises (like the mini cruise tomorrow night after the monthly meeting). There are a lot of nice cars our members have that we never see. That '69 Trans Am is one of only 500 and worth at least $125K and he drives it on all our cruises and drives it like he stole it!!! That's what they are for, take care of them but drive them! That's where the real fun is!!!:smartass:

Yeah, it was a blast. We drove as a group from Chubbies to Joes place. Ten cars literally racing down the highway all doing burnouts at every light we stopped at. It was awesome and luckily no one got stopped although I don't think it was even a thought in our heads. We were having too much fun to think about it!

I did ask them all to come down next March. No commitments yet but I'll see them all this summer and in the fall so I'll keep working on them.

BTW, Stuart bought that Woody from Nic Cage. It was built specifically for him and is much prettier than pictures can show. The woodwork is unbelievable. Also, the '71 Challenger RT was bought on ebay for $14K! It is very nice and even has a factory sunroof. One of only 95 I was told!
